The Current

Working at The Current has re-emphasized the fact that I love making things. I have been sharpening my production skills, specifically my audio production skills. I have been producing promotional spots for specialty programming, as well as editing interviews, live performances, and other features. I have also been venturing into music journalism, and have spent many hours writing articles and conducting and transcribing interviews. Below are samples of radio spots that I have produced, as well as writing samples from The Current’s website.

Additionally, I have done promotions work for The Current. I worked with promoters on both a local and national level to coordinate over 300 marketing partnerships that involved the management of deliverable assets such as ticket giveaways, social media promotion, on-air promotion, newsletter placement, website placement, and more. I worked with promoters at First Avenue owned venues, Live Nation venues, and local independent promoters to create campaigns for live music concerts ranging from local shows, to sold out arena shows, to national festivals, and more.
