Swollen Liver
Swollen Liver was a collection of up-cycled, handmade, gender-neutral clothing and accessories that was started by a friend of mine, Cass Hoverson. I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the pieces that she made, and she and I collaborated in developing shoots for her collection in 2018.
We figured that her pieces were quirky, grungy, and youthful, so we re-emphasized that in our imagery. We scheduled a couple creative shoots at different antique shops, in addition to capturing studio photos of some of the products. All of the models depicted are personal friends who know how to work the camera, and they really helped bring the brand to life. Below is a photo carousel with examples of my work.
Swollen Liver has since rebranded to Crummy Clothes, and has relocated to Phoenix, AZ and can be found on Instagram.
